For over two decades, Firm Base Schools has combined qualitative, results-driven education with strong moral character — preparing pupils in Somolu to compete favourably with their peers anywhere in the world.
Who We Are
Firm Base Schools sits on Fola Agoro Street in the heart of Somolu, Lagos, where it has spent more than two decades building young minds from Creche through Primary. What began as one proprietor's commitment to qualitative education has grown into an institution known locally as one of Somolu's steady, dependable places to raise a child.
Every session closes with the same conviction the school opened with: that a child given a firm academic and moral foundation early will carry it for life.

We mold pupils into morally upright, responsible citizens — not academic success alone, but character that lasts a lifetime.
A close-knit, neighbourhood school in Somolu where teachers, pupils and parents know one another by name.
What We Teach
From a child's very first day away from home to the final year of Primary School, every stage builds deliberately on the one before it.
Warm, secure early care and first learning experiences for our youngest pupils.
Foundational literacy, numeracy and social skills through guided, hands-on play.
A structured, curriculum-aligned pathway that prepares pupils for secondary education and beyond.
A Word From Our Proprietor
Mr. Gbenga Kalejaiye founded Firm Base Schools in 2001 with a simple conviction: that qualitative education and strong character must be built together, not separately. More than two decades and twenty-four graduating classes later, that conviction still shapes every classroom on Fola Agoro Street.
